Major U.S. Index Returns for November 2002 - Benchmarks Continue to Bounce Back

As of the market close on November 25, The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 5.39% for the month. Excluding October's gain of over 10%, this is the biggest monthly gain for the Dow Jones Industrial Average since November 2001, according to Dow Jones Indexes. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 11.7% for the year.

Measuring Europe, the Dow Jones STOXX 50 index was up 3.7% for November (index calculated in Euros). The Dow Jones STOXX 50 index is down 28.35% year-to-date. The Dow Jones Asian Titans 50 index rose 1.58% in November, and is down 10.46% for 2002 (index calculated in U.S. dollars) . The Dow Jones Global Titans 50 worldwide blue-chip market index rose 5% in November; the index is down 19.6% so far this year (index calculated in U.S. dollars).
